Any body know anything about PCI slabbed ASE's

I bought Some PCI graded and slabbed Silver eagles a few years back and I'm trying to figure out what there worth weird thing is there all graded MS 67 or 69 100% White but there starting to get these goldish rainbow rings starting from the outside and working there way into the center

I normally just get the junk circulated eagles and this has been my first jump into slabbed stuff so again my questions are
A) are these worth anything more than any other ASE if so how much
B) Should I take them out of there slabs and put them in air tights to stop the tarnishing

"the market never truly accepted the PCI graded coins and almost all were heavily discounted in the marketplace.

One venue that saw a large number of PCI graded coins was on eBay. Unfortuantely many sellers would list a PCI graded MS-65 coin and then use the PCGS retail price guide as valuation in the listing. Of course the two had no relation to one another, but it provided a questionable selling approach to sell PCI graded coins to unsuspecting buyers who thought they were getting a great bargain when in fact many were getting buried in coins they would have a hard time reselling in the future.

As a result of this and other abuses taking place, eBay started a New policy whereby only PCGS, NGC, ANACS and IGC would be considered as Certified Coins, and all other coins, including PCI would now be considered to be uncertified."

The PCI grade is mostly worthless as I understand it. In light of that, I see no reason not to bust open those slabs & get 'em in an airtite. Although an ASE really is a bullion coin, so I never really understood buying them for numastic value. JMO

do the slab labels have the green border or the gold border? the green label slabs are older, back when PCI had much stricter grading standards than it does now. in either case, I'd leave the coins in their slabs... a little rainbow toning is a good thing.

How are the slabs stored? The "toning" is an effect of the immediate environment. Cardboard boxes = sulfur.

Green border and the latest date i can find is 2001 as for storing there in an ammo can with a bunch of loose ASE's I store all my silver in ammo cans these are the only ones that are tarnishing thisa way i figure it has to be the slabs but if its a good thing I'll leave them in there
